The expansion vessel is a small chamber that is used to protect closed water heating systems from pressure surges. The expansion vessel is filled with air that acts as a cushion against pressure surges within the system.
This part is present in 116 different boilers in the Vaillant range including the Vaillant ecoTEC PRO (2006-2010), ecoTEC PLUS (2005-2010), ecoTEC exclusive 838 , ecoTEC PLUS (2005-2005), ecoTEC PLUS (2005-2005).
We recommend that all parts are fitted by a fully qualified gas safe certified technician.
